COLLABORATIONS

The founder and owner of the company, Gustavo Bomben, has been invited to speak at several conferences (AFTES – Association Francaise des Tunnels et de l’espace Souterrain, SIG – Società Italiana Gallerie, TAC – Tunnelling Association of Canada) and lectures for the Master’s Course at the Faculty of Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Turin. At the same faculty, he was the supervisor of a dissertation presenting FAMA’s innovative sealing and connection strategies, as well as related validations of studies, analyses and tests conducted by the company.

Bomben is a member of WG2, a working group created by the Italian Tunnelling Society (SIG) on behalf of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA). The group studied and then published the results of research conducted on segment damage, the various types of damage and techniques for mitigating their effects. This work resulted in a publication presented at the World Tunnel Congress in Naples in 2019. The group is currently working on new technologies and products.

The owner of the company is, in addition, part of the GT9 working group of AFTES, engaged in the study of sealing of underground works: means and materials, commissioning conditions.

In addition, he actively cooperates with technology transfer centers and Italian universities in the research and development of the company’s products.
